Philibhit centre is the sub centre of Suchetna Social Service Centre Kathgodam. Here social service has been going on for the last 3 years in 10 villages. One of the villages is Bhudgouttiya in which Suchetna staff has formed many groups in this village. With the support of the staff group federation is formed groups was organised, in which all women were given the information to create self-help groups under National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM). 15 women decided to make a group under NRLM on 13.07.2017 and thus Deepak self-help group was formed in this village. After 6 months of becoming a group, it was registered at block level. From Block, all these women received Rs.15000/- as revolving fund.
These women take small amount of loan to meet their daily needs by lending money for each other, which has increased in the dignity of leadership among them. The group members are able to maintain month wise records of Savings, bank dealings, etc. They also conduct group meetings regularly. All these women are very happy and express their gratitude to Suchetna organisation.
